If you take an one-time or damaged chair that you one time liked but is non stylish anymore, this doesn't hateful you have to just throw it away. It can still be salvaged with some time and fresh materials. This project shows united states how a vintage Leg-o-matic chair can become fresh and modernistic once over again.It'south a creative project, well executed by Janine from Salvage Dear. These 1962 chairs were just sitting alone in a local thrift shop until Janine spotted them and decide to have them home. She'southward very practiced at DIY projects and saw the potential in these vintage chairs.
View in gallery First the chairs needed to be unfolded and taken autonomously. It wasn't easy but luckily for Janine instructions were included on the chairs themselves. The wooden frame was in good shape. Some small repairs needed to be fabricated here and there just to brand the chair seem fresh again.
View in gallery One time the frame was similar new over again, it was time for the upholstery to exist taken care of. The onetime one definitely had to go. In an endeavor to preserve the chair's vintage blueprint, Janine opted for an as beautiful just slightly more modern pattern. This immune the chairs to preserve their charm while too getting a small-scale update.
