How to Draw in Zy Plane Rhino

CPlane

The CPlane command sets the origin and orientation of the construction plane in the active viewport.

Steps

Option a new origin point or choose an option.

Control-line options

All

The construction planes in all viewports change so their origin is at the picked location.

Curve

The Curve option sets the construction plane perpendicular to a curve.

Bend steps

one. Select a curve to orient structure airplane.
2. Drag the construction airplane'southward new x and y axes to a new location.

Notation

Utilize the Curve selection to speedily position your construction plane at various stations along a cardinal track bend as preparation for doing a one rail sweep, for example. Once your construction airplane is positioned, you can employ drawing tools to describe a cross-section curve in the 3 D location where it needs to be. This direct drawing method can exist quicker and more than user-friendly than drawing the bend on a globe plane and so trying to move and rotate it into place in 3-D.
The direction of the bend affects the direction of the axes. If the construction plane does not go the direction yous want, flip the direction of the curve with the Flip or Dir commands.

Pinnacle

The Meridian selection changes the meridian (z-direction) of the construction airplane.

Summit steps

Pick a new elevation.

Or, type a distance to motility the origin from its previous location.

Note

Positive numbers move the construction aeroplane up along the positive z-centrality.
Negative numbers motility the construction plane downwards.

Object

The Object option sets the construction plane in the active viewport to an object.

Object steps

Select a curve or surface.

The origin and tangency of the new structure plane is based on the "midpoint" of the untrimmed version of the surface.

Rotate

The Rotate selection rotates the construction plane.

Rotate steps

1. Pick the showtime of the rotation axis.
2. Option the end of the rotation axis.
three. Type the angle to rotate the construction aeroplane.

Or, choice two points to specify the angle.

Surface

The Surface option sets the construction plane to match a surface. The placement is constrained so that the construction airplane is tangent to the surface.

Surface steps

i. Select a surface.
2. Pick an origin or press Enter.
three. Pick an x-axis direction or press Enter.

Surface options

Flip

The Flip option reverses the direction.

IgnoreTrims

The IgnoreTrims option uses entire untrimmed underlying surface.

Through

The Through option moves the construction plane origin to a selected point.

Through steps

Pick a location to move the origin to.

Through option

All

The All option resets all structure planes to the new origin.

View

The View choice sets the construction aeroplane in the active viewport parallel to the view.

View steps

Click View or type V.

World

The World option restores the specified default construction plane.

Earth options

3Point

The 3Point option sets the construction plane in the active viewport by specifying points to establish the ten-, y-, and z-directions.

3Point steps

one. Pick a new origin, or press Enter.
2. Pick the x-centrality.
3. Pick the y-axis.

3Point options

Vertical

The Vertical option sets the construction plane perpendicular to the current construction aeroplane.

ZAxis

The ZAxis selection sets the construction airplane z-axis direction.

Disengage

The Disengage option restores the previously used construction plane in the current viewport.

Undo steps

Click Undo or blazon U.

Shortcut

Shift + Home

Redo

The Redo option restores the construction aeroplane that was active before the Undo pick was used.

Redo steps

Click Redo or blazon D.

Shortcut

Shift + End

CopyCPlaneToAll

The CopyCPlaneToAll command changes all viewports to have the same structure planes equally the specified viewport.

CopyCPlaneSettingsToAll

The CopyCPlaneSettingsToAll control changes all viewports to accept the same grid settings and snap spacing as the specified viewport.
